My Work

2008

August 2008 - Rock The Sound

Comming Soon.

July 2008 - Online Marketing Connect Blog

Another full blog site using Word Press MU.  All PHP based and very SEO friendly.

June 2008 - What Would You Do For A Klondike Bar?

Read about it here too.

In the beginning I acted more like an Architect by spending a few days with the developers and my team to figure out how integration and each component was to work.  We partnered with UGen Media to build a great contest video submission site.

June 2008 - Spraychel For President

Another year of Spraychel.  If you have not noticed or read, this is year 4.  First it was Sprays of Our Lives, then came Free Spraychel, then she partnered up with Spritzy for Sprays in the City and now....she is running for president.

May 2008 - Post Advertising

Story Worldwide's underground blog for finding out the best (and worst) examples of Post Advertising.  To find out more and what post adevrtising is go there.

This site started off using the BlogEngine.NET platform but has been customized to our liking.  Heavily SEO friendly, large CMS, and truly a blog engine.

April 2008 - Degree Deodorant.

Web site redesign for 3 Degree brands, Men, Women and Girl.  All of the sites were based on a .NET 2.0 platform and used a common registration component, product engine and promotion engine.  The site utilized .NET themes and master pages.  See for yourself at www.degreemen.com www.degreewomen.com www.degreegirl.com.

Three sites at once.  Wow.  Well using ASP.NET App Themes and common components allowed us to roll them out pretty quickly.  A common newsletter signup mechanism and other controls allow for reuse as well as expandabilty on these sites.

February 2008 - Degree Rookie

Look at the article in AdAge re: all of Unilever's Digital 2008

Degree, likewise, is in talks regarding a second year for its collaboration with Fox's "24," though thanks to the writers strike, that year may end up being 2009. The program attracted "millions of views," and users spent an average of five minutes per visit on the sites for a live-action, Degree-branded web series, "CTU Rookie," as well as Degree-branded "Day Zero," a "prequel" that ran last summer after the end of the series' seventh season, says Sam Chadha, marketing director-North American deodorants. "Degree had a great year," he says, as sales were up more than 20%, as measured by Information Resources Inc., and Degree passed Procter & Gamble Co.'s Old Spice to become the No. 3 brand in the category, according to Unilever's all-channel ACNielsen data. It's difficult to separate out the impact of the digital programs, Mr. Chadha says, adding, "This is one component of a big marketing plan for Degree for Men that did its part in the business success we had." That digital programs like this keep entering their second and third years is one sign of Unilever's dedication to the space, Mr. Master says. "We're developing programming that's committed and consistent year after year," he says, "which I think is different from brands just doing a bunch of programming on the web."

February and March 2008 - Wish Bone

The Wish Bone site was built off of the foundation of the ICBINB site, ASP.NET 2.0, Ajax, Flash + HTML etc.  The main difference beside the creative is an online salad match profile system.  Once you register and answer a few questions, the site tries to find your Salad Match with other users on the site.  There is a Flash game, Digital Garden, which you can plant and grow vegatables.  All web serviced for expandability.

February and March 2008 - I Can't Believe It's Not Butter

The I Can't Believe It's Not Butter site launched actaully after the Wish Bone site but was started before.  The site is built on ASP.NET 2.0 using the C# programming language.  We are using a bunch of techinques in here.  UrlRewriting, Ajax, Seo'd HTML + Flash replacements.  The site is brand focused but has a very large search component that ties into Unilevers MRS database to display recipes and their information.  There is also a sign up section where you can create a recipe box and add your favorite recipes to it along with notes.
